Only one Facebook Page shows up when you connect
Updated July 4, 2026
When you connect Facebook to BetterReply, you might see just one Page on the “Select Facebook page” screen, even though you manage several. Here’s why it happens and how to get the rest to show up. It takes about a minute to fix.
Why this happens
This isn’t a bug in BetterReply, and your other Pages are safe. It’s about the way Facebook handles permissions.
When you connect, Meta asks which Pages you want to give BetterReply access to. Whatever you pick there is all we can see. If you only selected one Page the first time, or Facebook had one pre-selected and you didn’t change it, that’s the only Page that shows up later.
Facebook also remembers your last choice. So when you try connecting again, it quietly reuses those old settings instead of asking fresh. That’s why reconnecting on its own doesn’t fix it.
How to fix it
The goal is to get Facebook back to the Page-selection screen so you can pick all the Pages you want.
- 1In BetterReply, go to Channels and start the Facebook connection again.
- 2Facebook shows a screen that says something like “You’ve previously linked Social Media Connector to Facebook. Would you like to continue with your previous settings?” That’s BetterReply. Facebook lists our connector under that name, so look for “Social Media Connector” rather than “BetterReply.”
- 3Click Edit settings. Don’t click the blue Continue button, since that just reuses your old one-Page setup.
- 4Keep going until you reach the Pages step. Check every Page you want to use in BetterReply, or pick “Opt in to all current and future Pages” to include them all.
- 5Finish the steps. Back in BetterReply, every Page you selected will now be there.
Once that’s done, you can choose any of those Pages for posting and replies.
Still only seeing one Page?
If a certain Page still won’t show up, two things are usually behind it.
Check your role on the Page
You need full admin access, which Facebook calls “Facebook access” with full control. Editors and moderators get left out. You can check or change your role in Meta Business Suite under Settings, then People or Pages.
Check which business owns the Page
If your Pages live under different Business Portfolios in Meta, only Pages in the portfolio you connected will appear. Make sure you’re granting access from the portfolio that owns the Page you’re looking for.
Frequently asked questions
Why does only one Facebook Page appear when I connect?+
Facebook only hands BetterReply the Pages you granted during the permission step, and it remembers your last choice. If one Page was selected before, that is all that shows up. Click Edit settings on the Facebook screen (not Continue) and select every Page you want.
Where is the Edit settings button?+
When you reconnect Facebook, Meta shows a screen that says you previously linked BetterReply and asks if you want to continue with your previous settings. Edit settings is the grey button next to the blue Continue button. Continue reuses your old one-Page choice, so choose Edit settings instead.
Why does Facebook say "Social Media Connector" instead of BetterReply?+
That is expected. On Facebook's permission screens, BetterReply appears under the name of our connector, "Social Media Connector." It is the same connection, so continue through the steps and your Pages will link to BetterReply as normal.
A Page still will not show up after I edit settings. What now?+
Two things usually cause this. First, you need full admin access to the Page (Facebook access with full control), so editors and moderators get left out. Second, if your Pages sit under different Business Portfolios in Meta, only Pages in the portfolio you connected will appear. Check both in Meta Business Suite.
Does the same thing happen with Instagram?+
Yes. Instagram connects through the same Meta permission process, so if only one account shows up, use the same fix: reconnect, click Edit settings, and select all the accounts you want.
